After 13 years in San Francisco our family (and Radici Studios) just moved across the bridge to the East Bay…
Packing up all our stuff was exhausting but also a fascinating inventory on what we own and what we value. Here’s what I learned that the large majority of the boxes contained:
- Kids Books (with beautiful illustrations and inclusive messages) If you have been part of this Radici Community for a while that won’t surprise you (here and here and here are some lists of the titles in those heavy boxes if this of also a love of yours!)
- Art supplies! I didn’t do the math but I’d estimate 40% of our boxes were filled with something to make something! Here’s to teaching in person again!
- Paint (There’s so much of it, I made this it’s own category. It was so fun to go through all the containers of mural paint and remember each project’s specific colors- the Powder Blue/Burnt-Orange/Payne’s Gray of the Zuni Mural, The Ultramarine, Cobalt, Midnight Blues of the SF Heart, and the Steel Gray/Mustard of Bini’s Kitchen mural. I’m excited for the next one coming in 2022!
- Inventory for the Radici Store! So many boxes of t-shirts, totes, and prints which have now been recently restocked.
Of course there were plenty of boxes of plates, legos and other essentials, but it certainly made me realize what a big part of our lives Radici Studios holds (in our hearts and in our boxes).
Thanks for being part of this community! Here’s to all we carry with us!
