a creative hub where art gets made, connections are sparked, and community is strengthened
Radici Studios, founded and run by Jen Bloomer, is a creative hub where art gets made, connections are sparked, and community is strengthened.
Jen Bloomer is an artist with an agenda.
Whether she’s picking up her paintbrush or designing arts-based workshops for educators, Jen strives to build our collective capacity for belonging through creativity.
As cis white woman raising mixed race kids with her Italian/Eritrean husband, Jen’s professional work and personal path are deeply intertwined. Trained as an artist with a Master’s Degree in Expressive Arts Therapy, Jen founded Radici Studios, which means “roots” in Italian. Through Radici Studios’ many permutations, Jen brings the tools of the artist’s studio out into our messy beautiful world.
Jen collaborates deeply with a multi-racial team of mamas through our Co-Create to Liberate programming to bring the spark of creativity to diversity, equity, and inclusion in schools, workplaces, and communities.
Jen’s original art is archived at the Library of Congress, covered in the Washington Post, and likely featured on the wall of your local non-profit.
