As othering and dehumanizing become increasingly widespread- more than ever we must turn towards the power of connection and community to create spaces of belonging.
This series is a series about gathering- in joy, in heart break, in hope, in wonder, in anger, in awe. Each piece is drawn by hand by artist Jen Bloomer and depicts diferent bird's eye scenes of community- reminders of the magic that happens when we show up with and for each other.
My hope is that these pieces will inspire people to turn to their existing communities and build new ones. My hope that these images cultivate a deeper sense of care and belonging. I create them as a reminder of the wold we can build and re-build together.
This series includes hand pulled screen prints, notecards, and postcards.
