In October of 2020 I had the honor of being selected as one of the artists to paint one of the iconic Hearts in San Francisco- a public art initiative that brings together artists from across the Bay Area to create large-scale heart sculptures in support of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation.

My piece, “Together Under the Stars,” features thirteen figures—each unique in appearance, age, and background—standing side by side beneath a sweeping night sky. Above them, constellations and shooting stars sparkle in deep blues and purples, capturing a collective moment of awe and connection.

The mural was inspired by the power of shared wonder—how, no matter where we come from, we can stand together and look up in hope, curiosity, and unity. Each figure gazes skyward, reminding us that the sky belongs to all of us.

As a community muralist, I specialize in creating artwork that reflects the spirit of the people and places where it lives. Whether painting a wall alongside local students or designing public art that speaks to collective values, my goal is always the same: to create spaces where people feel seen, celebrated, and inspired.

“Together Under the Stars” was displayed in San Francisco Civic Center in 2021 and is now permanently located at Lynmar Winery.
